With vMix, as with comparable solutions, you have been able to switch in 4K for a few years, but if you set your workspace as HD and connect a 4K/UHD video signal, with a supported 4K video capture card, you can duplicate this single 4K camera input by creating multiple virtual inputs. This free virtual set pack is supplied at HD resolution – the vMix versions of our full virtual studio set packs are all at 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). This is automatically scaled by vMix to your chosen output resolution allowing you to zoom your virtual cameras with no loss of quality (for example, up to 2X zoom for an HD 1080.

Stand broadcast (Full body anchor):
  • The stand anchor's acquisition signal format is HD1920x1080. In order to ensure the clarity of the anchor signal during Medium shot or Close-up, we adopted the vertical shooting method. Of course, you also need to do this when collecting the announcer signal.
  • Attention: That before this you need to turn off the 'Auto orientation' of the camera, the final video should be horizontal composition.
  • In the virtual system (vMix; Tricaster), the anchor signal will automatically adjust the orientation by UV Map.
